Season Four of Outlander will continue the story of Doctor Claire Fraser and her husband Jamie Fraser, as this couple tries to make a home for themselves in colonial America. As Jamie and Claire build their lives together in the rough and deadly backcountry of North Carolina, they must negotiate an insubstantial loyalty to the current British ruling class, despite Claire’s knowledge of the American Revolution to come.
This new season comes with new stars in the cast:
- Tim Downie as Governor William Tryon, a Brit with a dark past
- Billy Boyd as Gerald Forbes, a lawyer in Cross Creek
- Caitlyn O’Ryan as Lizzie Wemyss, a Scottish gal who goes on an adventure with Brianna Fraser
- Nathalie Simpson as Phaedre, a handmaid, and seamstress for Jocasta
- Simona Brown as Gayle, Brianna’s best friend, and college roommate.
- Maria Doyle Kennedy as Jocasta, Jamie’s aunt.
- Ed Speelers will play Irish pirate Stephen Bonnet.
